“Social Interactions in Inclusive Educational Settings” University of Tampere – Online symposium – 28-29 January 2021. Samira Ibnelkaïd will give a talk titled “Co-enacting the imaginal world: intercorporeality in challenging interactions” – 28/01/21 10:45-11:45.
The theme of the symposium resonates with a long-standing worry about the methodological challenges of investigating social interactions in an inclusive educational setting, and particularly concerning the use of video data and their analyses We focus both on verbal and non-verbal modalities of communication, given that cognition is strongly linked with motor activities and experiences engaging the body. Therefore, our aim is to bring together well-known researchers working with different aspects of social interaction within different theoretical and approaches, and prominent researchers in the field of inclusive education to discuss how can we develop the methodologies to investigate social interaction within inclusive settings.
